Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while relaxing in a porch swing or rocking chair on any one of our three oversized covered decks.

The area is renowned for its miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. An easy hike just down the hill from the cabin will take you along Stanley Creek to Falls Branch Falls. If a longer hike is in your plans, the Benton MacKay Trail is walking distance from the cabin’s front door. During much of the year visitors can be spotted canoeing, tubing, and fly-fishing on the Toccoa River or playing in and around Lake Blue Ridge, both of which are nearby.

Buckhorn Lodge is conveniently located between Blue Ridge Georgia and Blairsville, at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Buckhorn Lodge is a private, luxury executive retreat, reminiscent of an old English Hunting Lodge, and built on what is believed to be formerly occupied Cherokee Indian hunting lands. It has a spectacular view of the mountains of North Georgia and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. A short 7-minute drive will take you to all the quaint antique shops, galleries, and restaurants in Historic Blue Ridge. Lake Blue Ridge and the Marina are within 10 miles, where you can rent pontoon boats or jet skis and enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Lake. Nearby are the Aska Adventure Area along the Toccoa River for tubing, canoeing, kayaking, trout fly-fishing, and Appalachian Trail/Benton McKaye Trails for great hiking. You can also enjoy hiking in the woods and mountain trails on the property of Casa Bella.
